30 Days of Gratitude: Day 9- Grateful for my Job.

Today, I returned home from work feeling quite tired and hungry. At one point, I almost became grumpy, but then I had a moment of reflection. I remembered how, years ago, having a job was something I deeply desired and prayed for.

I’m so grateful to God that I now have a job to go to—one I’ve always dreamed of. I remember how much I longed to work in the development sector, and God made it happen. Looking back on how my job came to me, the growth I’ve experienced, and the ways God has consistently helped me, I can’t help but say, “Thank you, Abba!”

Thank you, Lord, for my job. Thank you for workplace favor and for all the opportunities you’ve blessed me with. I’m truly grateful.

Count your blessings

When was the last time you paused to appreciate the small wins and milestones you’ve achieved at work?

Celebrate those victories, my friends! Whether it’s acing a presentation, solving a complex problem, meeting a tough deadline, or receiving praise from a colleague or boss, take a moment to pat yourself on the back and tell God thank you.

Be grateful for the skills and talents God has entrusted to you. He is the one who equips us, opens doors, and grants favor. Celebrate your progress, no matter how small, and keep trusting Him for even greater things!

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” – Colossians 3:17
