30 Days of Gratitude: Day 8- Grateful for my Pastors.

Today, December 8th, 2024, we held Pastors’ Shower and Appreciation Sunday—a special time to honor our pastors, reflect on their impact, and give back to them. It was a truly joyous and reflective occasion. I choose to be grateful for my Pastors

The Bible reminds us in Jeremiah 3:15“And I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.” This verse came alive as I thought about the gift of spiritual leadership that God gave us.

I am deeply grateful for my pastors, who have faithfully stood in the gap for us, teaching the undiluted truth of God’s Word and living as examples of consistency and dedication. Their prayers, sacrifices, and unwavering commitment have been a source of strength and growth in my spiritual journey.

Today, I particularly want to thank God for Rev. Peter Ogar, Rev and Rev(Mrs). Ohien, Pastor Ben Ralph, and all the other pastors who have sown into my life and the lives of many others.

As Isaiah 40:31 says, I pray that they will “renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” May the Lord continually bless and uphold them, keeping them steadfast in their calling.

Pastor, thank you. Your example in ministry encourages us to stand firm in our faith. We don’t often say this enough, but that doesn’t mean we don’t appreciate you. I hope you know that we thank God for you, and we are glad to have you as our pastor.

To all our pastors: thank you for being vessels of God’s love and truth. May your labor in the vineyard never be in vain, and may God crown all your efforts with abundant blessings! Amen.
