30 Days of Gratitude: Day 14- Grateful for Christ Redeeming Love

Welcome to Day 15 of my gratitude series. If you missed day 14, you can find it here. It’s quite easy to think of things God has yet undone, and we forget to look back, reminisce about His goodness, and feed on His faithfulness. I’m grateful for Christ’s Redeeming Love.

Knowing, you can give without loving, but you can not love without giving. John 3:16 proves that

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

I love so well, but my love hasn’t gotten to the extent of laying down my life…..Nah. Yet God gave His only begotten son to die on the cross while we were yet sinners.

But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.Romans 5:8

Jesus didn’t just die for us. He still intercedes on our behalf. Isn’t that worth being thankful for?

Therefore, He is able, once and forever, to save everyone who comes to God through him. He lives forever to plead with God on their behalf. Hebrews 7:25

If you find yourself doubting God’s goodness in your life or family or worrying about the request still unanswered, the best thing you can do is say, “Thank you, Jesus, for your redeeming love.

Never allow the enemy give you reasons to doubt God’s love towards you. Remember He said;

But now, O Israel, the Lord who created you says:

But now the Lord who created you, O Israel, says: Don’t be afraid, for I have ransomed you; I have called you by name; you are mine. 2 When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up—the flames will not consume you.Isaiah 43:1-2

Conclusion,

If you don’t seem to understand this redeeming love of God, you’ve not experienced it. Please say this prayer with me.

Lord Jesus, I come to you today. I ask that you come into my heart. I ask that you wash away my sins and I accept you to be my Lord and personal savior in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Congratulations!!!!!!!
